India-China | China's provocative actions have come to the fore once again amid the ongoing tension in eastern Ladakh. It is being claimed in the satellite image that China is building a bridge very close to the LAC in the Pangong Lake area. The picture showed that China is building a bridge in its occupied area of Ladakh's Pangong Lake. Not only this, this construction is going on for the last few months. According to the India Today report, this bridge will connect the northern and southern banks of Pangong Lake, which will help the Chinese army to reach both sides very quickly.

The bridge is ready!

Significantly, this area was the main point of confrontation between the two armies last year. Now it is being said that this bridge being built over the lake will open many ways for Chinese soldiers and logistics to reach there. Satellite image about the bridge construction has been released by Geo Intelligence Expert Damien Simon. He has indicated that China is possibly building a bridge over Pangong Lake in eastern Ladakh. He said that this indicates that the bridge on the narrow path of the lake is almost complete. The report claimed that this construction has been going on for a few months.

India had captured key heights on the Kailash range on the southern coast in August 2020, giving Indian troops a strategic advantage. However, with the disengagement process at Pangong in February last year, India withdrew from the heights as part of a mutual pullback plan to defuse tensions.

Chinese soldiers will get benefit

It is now believed that this bridge will facilitate the Chinese army to take immediate action as it will reduce the distance and time to reach the disputed areas in Pangong Lake. Along with this, this bridge will also connect both sides of the lake, so that the Chinese army can easily reach both sides to deal with any threat.

China implemented new law

Significantly, China implemented its new border law on January 1, which calls for strengthening its border security, development of villages and infrastructure near the borders, and has also put conditions in the law under which the border areas will be protected. emergency measures can be taken. Just before the law came into force, China changed the names of 15 places in Arunachal Pradesh in its map. Although the law is not specifically for India, it has important implications as the border dispute with China has escalated since May 2020.
