India-China Border: Just after the violent clash with India in Galwan Valley of Ladakh, China has deployed a large number of troops there. Also, infrastructure has been developed very fast. Many shocking facts have come to light in a Pentagon report. In the annual report presented by the US Defense Ministry to the US Congress, it has said that in the year 2022, China deployed a large number of troops on the LAC and the situation is likely to remain almost the same in 2023.

According to the Pentagon report, China has deployed a border regiment in the western sector of LAC. To help in this, two contingents of Xinjiang and Tibet Military Division have also been deployed. Apart from this, four Combined Arms Brigades (CAB) are also in reserve. Similarly, at least three light and medium range combined arms brigades have been deployed in the eastern sector.

According to the information, at least 4500 soldiers join a border regiment of China. Along with this, this regiment is equipped with dangerous cannons, helicopters, special vehicles for patrolling, and a large number of ammunition. Along with this, this regiment is considered adept at carrying out operations in all weather conditions.

Special operation force was deployed after the clash

The Pentagon report says that after the clash in Galwan Valley in 2020, China has deployed its Special Operations Force here. This force belongs to Tibet Military Region. According to the report, China has built new roads as well as bunkers near Doklam. At the same time, a second bridge has also been prepared on Pangong Lake.

Several rounds of talks have been held to reduce tension

It is noteworthy that due to the conflict on the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh, there has been a situation of tension between India and China for the last three years. However, both sides have continued talks to reduce tension. Till now, after several rounds of diplomatic and military talks, the process of disengagement was completed in many areas of Eastern Ladakh.

India is strengthening its preparations on LAC

Fully aware of China's actions, India is further strengthening its preparations on LAC. The Indian Army is emphasizing on increasing its combat capabilities on LAC. The Army has started the process of purchasing six fast patrol boats, eight Landing Craft Assault (LCA) and 118 integrated surveillance systems. Fast patrol boats are being purchased mainly for surveillance in Pangong Lake etc. in eastern Ladakh.
