CM Gehlot Health / CM Gehlot injured in both toes – foot slipped while going to the room

CM Gehlot Health: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has fractured his toe. He has been treated at Sawai Man Singh Hospital (SMS), where doctors discharged him after one hour of examination and treatment. Also, it is advised to take complete rest for a week. It is being told that after pricking a sharp object in the right leg of the Chief Minister at home, his balance deteriorated and the left leg got twisted. Because of this, the nail of the right toe was uprooted and hair line fracture in the left leg. After the injury, there is now a possibility that all the programs and tours of the Chief Minister may be cancelled.

Gehlot's toe got fractured at around 6 pm on Thursday evening at CM House. He was immediately brought to the emergency of SMS Hospital. Here the doctors did all the routine checkups including X-ray, ECG.

Post bleed dressing

After being pricked by a sharp object, blood started oozing from the Chief Minister's leg. The hospital staff took the wheel chair to the dressing room and the doctors first dressed the bleeding spot. After that X-ray of both feet was done. OSD Lokesh Sharma told that CM is absolutely fine. Minor leg injury. During this, Principal of SMS Dr. Rajeev Bagrahatta, team of Orthopedics and General Physician were present.

Along with the Chief Minister, State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara, PHED Minister Mahesh Joshi and other leaders also reached the SMS. Gehlot's wife Sunita Gehlot, daughter-in-law Himanshi Gehlot and granddaughter also reached the hospital.

Went home after being in the hospital for an hour

Gehlot went to his residence from the hospital at around 8 pm. Now the doctors told him completely fine. Also, it is advised to take rest for a week. Releasing the health bulletin, SMS Principal Rajeev Bagrahatta told that the nail of the CM's right leg was pulled out by senior plastic surgeon R.K. Jain fixed it and tied a compression bandage on the leg. The CM also told about the pain in the left leg. After this Professor Orthopedic Department and Incharge of Trauma Center Dr. Anurag Dhakad examined CM's leg. Raw plaster was fixed on his left foot after X-ray detected hair line fracture near the big toe. After this, Dr. Dhakad has advised the Chief Minister to rest for 7 days. CM's checkup will be done again after seven days.
