Rajasthan News: Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot has made a big announcement for the personnel/pensioners under the Fifth Pay Commission. CM Gehlot has announced to give increased dearness allowance from 2023 itself. CM Gehlot had approved this proposal.

Inflation has increased by 412 percent

Explain that according to the proposal, an increase in the rate of dearness allowance or dearness relief has been approved for state employees and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission and Rajasthan Civil Services (Revised Pay) Rules, 1998. Now, from January 1, 2023, the rate of dearness allowance or dearness relief will be increased from 396 percent to 412 percent to such state employees and pensioners.

Will get benefit from 2023 only

The government has announced to give increased allowance from 2023 itself. That is, the amount from January 2023 to March 2023 will be deposited in the general provident fund account of the concerned employees. While the pensioners will get the increased dearness allowance in cash from January 2023.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal of the Finance Department for this. The concerned personnel and pensioners of the state government will be benefited by this decision of the Chief Minister. Its amount will be released soon.
