News Helpline . Mumbai | First ever outing of Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu Prasad, a ZEE5 original, Comedy Couple gets a release date.

Streaming platform ZEE5 announced the release date of its original film titled Comedy Couple, starring Saqib Saleem and Shweta Basu Prasad.

Directed by Nachiket Samant, the movie is based in Gurgaon and is set against the backdrop of the burgeoning stand-up comedy scene in the city. It is produced by Yoodlee Films, the film production arm of Saregama India.

Comedy Couple is based on a story by Bikas Mishra, with a screenplay by Raghav Kakkar and Kashyap Kapoor. The film follows Zoya Batra (Prasad) and Deep Sharma (Saleem) who do stand-up together. It revolves around the couple's interpersonal relationships, friendship, what they face as a unit, and how they land the jokes.

Apart from Comedy Couple, actor Saqib is also part of 83 ensemble, he will be seen playing the role of Mohinder Amarnath in the forthcoming cricket biopic.

83 is directed by Kabir Khan, also starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Jiiva, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar and Amrita Puri.

The show is set to air its final season in 2021, and Kim Kardashian and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner family took to Instagram to bid their fans adieu a little while ago.

To our amazing fans - It is with heavy hearts that we’ve made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

Kim Kardashian shared a post, which read, “After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way”

“Thank you to the thousands of individuals and businesses that have been a part of this experience and, most importantly, a very special thank you to Ryan Seacrest for believing in us, E! for being our partner, and our production team at Bunim/Murray, who’ve spent countless hours documenting our lives”
