Amidst the increasing threat of the delta variant of the corona virus, now health experts are again emphasizing on who should or should not wear a mask. Because the delta variant is so dangerous that it is happening to those who wear masks, and also those who do not. That's why now health experts are making a new list, explaining what to do, what not to do, how much and for how long to avoid delta.

On June 28, the Los Angeles County Public Health Department advised its people that those who have been vaccinated and those who have not yet, will now wear masks in their homes and in public indoor places. Because about half the corona cases in the county have come related to the delta variant. This variant was first recorded in India. It is more contagious and serious than its ancestor viruses. After this, the WHO also advised people to wear masks to avoid the delta variant.

The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has not made any changes to its rules at the moment. According to him, vaccinated people can do all their work without a mask. CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Wolensky said that people who have taken the vaccine need not panic, as it will also protect against the delta variant. However, people who have not been vaccinated should wear a mask regularly, to avoid infection with the delta variant. Because it is more dangerous for people who do not take the vaccine

There have been some cases in Los Angeles County in which people became infected with Kovid-19 even after getting the corona vaccine and taking full protection. However, these cases are not serious. Therefore the county administration has advised people to apply masks. The Los Angeles County Administration said that even if you have been vaccinated, you still need to wear an indoor mask. Be it your home, office or restaurant (when you are not eating).

County Health Officer Dr. Muntu Davis said that this decision has been taken because there is an atmosphere of uncertainty regarding the delta variant of the corona virus. According to data from Israel, this variant is also infecting people who have been vaccinated. However, the vaccine is 80 percent effective on this variant. But from the point of view of safety, people must wear masks. Follow the ways to avoid corona.

In Los Angeles County, 4 million people still have not been able to get the vaccine. In such a situation, they are more likely to get infected. If the vaccinated people take all the safety measures, then the infection rate can be stopped. Some people may be infected with the delta variant but may not have any symptoms or feel mild symptoms. About 70 percent of people in the US have received the first dose of the vaccine. But in some parts of the country this number is very less. The risk of rapid spread of the delta variant is high at these locations.

Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Chief Medical Advisor to the White House, Dr. Anthony Fauci also said that the easiest way to reduce or prevent the infection rate of any variant of the corona is to get as many vaccines as possible. Variants like Delta are mutating themselves and changing their genetic code. Due to which people with low immunity are at increased risk of getting infected.

Dr. Fauchi said that for those who have not been vaccinated, the delta variant is more dangerous. Based on the primary reports from Australia, the new variants can make any person sick at any time. Whether he has been vaccinated or not. The only difference is that after getting the vaccine, people are less infected than the variant. Even if they do occur, the side effects are minimal.

Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Dr. Kirsten Laik said that the delta variant is highly contagious and dangerous. In many countries, even 50 percent of the people have not been fully vaccinated. In such a situation, wearing a mask is very important. This will be saved. Also, you will stay away from the effect of new variants. If you are out in the open or in an indoor place, you should wear a mask, whether you have been vaccinated or not. Because no scientist in the world has developed a complete understanding about the delta variant.

Dr. Kirsten Laik said that people who have got the vaccine may have some relief. It may be that where there is less crowd, they can roam without a mask but it is not necessarily applicable to everyone. There are many small places in the world where people have not got the vaccine. There are fewer people here, but there is no escape from the menace of the new variant. The Delta variant is one of these which can take you in its grip with a little carelessness.

Masks and vaccinations are like an insurance policy to avoid corona. A vaccine is like a seat belt in a car that will protect you from a serious condition caused by a corona accident. Whereas the mask is your helmet. However, millions of people in the world still have not got the vaccine. In such a situation, the Delta variant can trouble you. The next wave could be of this variant.

Dr. Laik says that we are constantly studying about the delta variant. So that we can take all steps to stop it. Although study is not needed, because we have studied its genealogy in depth.
