Rajasthan News: In Dausa, Rajasthan, Congress MLA Johri Lal Meena's son has been arrested by the Dausa police in connection with gangrape and extortion of lakhs of rupees and jewellery. According to the information received, the police arrested the accused Deepak Meena and produced him in the POCSO court, from where the accused has been sent to jail till January 13. It may be known that a case of gangrape was registered against the MLA's son in March 2022 and the police have already arrested 2 accused in this case. At the same time, the main opposition party of the state, BJP, was continuously raising the issue of non-arrest of the MLA's son. Here BJP state president Satish Poonia had also targeted CM Gehlot several times on this issue.

While giving clarification on the allegations against the son in this case, Congress MLA Johri Lal Meena had said at that time that the case was completely fake, baseless and under political conspiracy.

Let us tell you that last year, a case of gangrape was registered against two other accused, including the MLA's son, at Mandawar police station in Dausa district. In this case Deepak Meena, son of Alwar Rajgarh MLA Johri Lal Meena, was made the main accused.

In this case, Vinod Banshiwal, the lawyer of the minor victim, informed that in March 2022, in the case of rape of a minor in a hotel in Mandawar police station, the police arrested the accused Netram and a minor rapist, where a POCSO case was registered against Netram and the minor was arrested. was detained.

On the other hand, in the charge sheet of the case, the name of MLA Joharilal Meena's son Deepak Meena (Dilip) was removed by the police in the investigation, but the POCSO court, taking cognizance of the 190 application, issued an arrest warrant considering Deepak Meena involved in the gangrape. .

After this, the accused Deepak was hiding from the police for 6 months, where a writ was filed in the High Court regarding the matter that the police was not arresting intentionally, after which the court ordered Dausa SP to be summoned on 23 December. At the same time, following the order of the court, the accused Deepak was arrested on Monday and presented in the POCSO court.
