Lok Sabha Elections: Outgoing Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi is again embroiled in controversy due to his words during the door-to-door campaign. Opposition party leaders have started attacking Owaisi's remarks at a local beef shop during the election campaign, saying 'Rehan Beef Shop Zindabad' and 'Kate Raho'. By tweeting Owaisi's video, his comments have been termed as provocative and aggressive. BJP candidate Madhavi Lata has raised questions on Owaisi's comments by tweeting.

In the video tweeted by Vishnuvardhan Reddy on X social media platform, it can be seen that Owaisi is campaigning door-to-door. During the election campaign he reaches a meat shop. Taking the name of the meat shop, he said, 'Rehan Beef Shop Zindabad'. After that he shakes hands with the people working in the meat shop and then when he starts walking, he says... keep cutting..

Attacked by tweeting Owaisi's video

Andhra Pradesh state BJP vice president Vishnu Vardhan Reddy tweeted Owaisi's video and wrote, “A dangerous pattern of divisive rhetoric is emerging from Owaisi's statement. “Such deliberate actions only promote hatred and widen the rift in our society.”

Madhavi Lata raised questions on Owaisi's statement

On AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's alleged comment praising the beef owner, BJP's Lok Sabha candidate Madhavi Lata said, "I don't understand how Asaduddin Owaisi became a barrister. He keeps talking about personal law.”

He said, as per personal law, ''Fatwa' is something that everyone should follow... When there is a fatwa that beef should not be consumed, how is he going against the fatwa? It means that he Don't respect your religion…this is life.

He said, “You are asking for votes on this?… They should talk about getting education and becoming something for the country… What is the point of cutting beef?”
