Nikhil Jain also issued a statement refusing all the allegations of Nusrat. "The allegations leveled by him are all baseless and derogatory and devoid of truth," he said. He had said, 'In love, he proposed marriage to Nusrat, which she happily accepted. We then went to Bodrum, Turkey for a destination marriage in June 2019. A reception was also held in Kolkata.

Nusrat said that their marriage is not valid under Indian law. So the question of divorce does not arise. Nikhil Jain made many allegations against Nusrat but till now the actress had not said anything openly on this. Now for the first time he talked about this entire controversy.

Nusrat said that Nikhil had not given money for their marriage. Talking to India Today, Nusrat had said that 'they did not pay money for my wedding, nor did they pay hotel bills. I don't need to tell them anything. I'm honest I was shown wrongly and now I have cleared everything.
