Adani Group: There is a deadlock in both the Houses of Parliament on the Adani issue. The efforts being made to end the deadlock between the opposition and the ruling party have not yielded any results at the moment. Opposition parties are adamant on JPC demand on Adani issue. The opposition is not allowed to discuss the President's address.

Yesterday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi and Minister of State Arjun Ram Meghwal held a meeting with the House leaders of opposition parties after both the Houses were adjourned for the day. Joshi and Meghwal held a meeting with Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Trinamool Congress leader Sudip Bandopadhyay, DMK leader TR Baalu and some other leaders. Sources said that during the meeting the leaders were of the opinion that the discussion on the motion of thanks on the President's address should begin. However, there is no clarity on when the standoff will end.

On the other hand, the BJP is also in a mood to retaliate against the uproar politics of the Congress. A meeting of the BJP parliamentary party has been held this morning, in which the party will discuss its strategy amid the ongoing impasse in Parliament. At the same time, a meeting of the opposition is also going to be held under the leadership of Leader of Opposition Malikarjun Kharge.

What is the power behind Adani: Rahul

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi accused the central government of being "frightened" to discuss the matter related to the Adani Group in Parliament. He said that this topic should be discussed so that there can be milk of milk and water of water and the whole country can know what is the power behind industrialist Gautam Adani. Claiming that there is corruption worth lakhs of crores in this case, Rahul Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will try his best not to discuss the matter in Parliament.

Rahul Gandhi said, 'I have been raising this issue for the last two-three years. I want there to be a discussion and milk becomes milk and water becomes water. Corruption worth lakhs of crores has happened, and India's infrastructure has been hijacked. The country should also find out what is the power behind Adani ji. 'After the US-based financial research company 'Hindenburg Research' made several serious allegations against the group led by Gautam Adani including fraudulent transactions and manipulation of share prices. The share prices of the group have come down heavily. At the same time, Adani Group has said that it complies with all laws and information disclosure requirements. Opposition parties are constantly trying to corner the Center on the Adani issue. Opposition parties have alleged that the recent fall in Adani Group shares is a 'scam' involving common people's money as public sector Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) and State Bank of India (SBI) have invested in them.
