'INDIA' Alliance: Amidst the ongoing speculation about India alliance, the news coming from Uttar Pradesh is going to give comfort to the opposition. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has tweeted that his party is starting an alliance with Congress from 11 strong seats. There are a total of 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh and in the last two elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has been winning here unilaterally. Samajwadi Party and Congress are trying to defeat Bharatiya Janata Party by bringing other opposition parties together.

Akhilesh has said that this trend will continue further with the winning equation. Akhilesh has claimed that the strategy of India's team and PDA will change history. In this way, it has been decided that Congress Party will contest elections on 11 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Keep in mind that now there is a seat agreement between Congress and Samajwadi Party. Talks have already been finalized between Rashtriya Lok Dal and Samajwadi Party regarding the Lok Sabha elections.

Will SP contest on 62 seats?

Congress was expecting more seats in UP but SP has announced to give 11 seats. From this it seems that Akhilesh has done this to take advantage of the breaking India Alliance. There are speculations that Akhilesh Yadav has done this by using the strategy of pressure on Congress. Earlier, Akhilesh had also announced to give 7 seats to RLD. In this way, it has been decided that out of 80 seats, SP will keep 62 seats and its allies will contest the remaining 18 seats.

Does Congress accept this formula?

Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai has said that right now talks are going on on seat sharing, anyway Congress will announce seat sharing. It is obvious that the Congress Party is not liking this announcement of the Samajwadi Party chief. In such a situation, the question arises whether Akhilesh announced to give 11 seats without the consent of Congress?
