DC vs GT / Delhi Capitals beat Gujarat Titans by 4 runs, registered fourth win of the season

DC vs GT: With the help of fifties from captain Rishabh Pant and Akshar Patel, Delhi Capitals defeated Gujarat Titans by 4 runs in the 40th match of IPL 2024. The team has won the fourth match in the current season. With this victory, Delhi has come to sixth place in the points table with 8 points.

Gujarat won the toss and chose to bowl at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday. Delhi scored 225 runs for 4 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, Gujarat could score only 220 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs. Rashid Khan returned unbeaten after scoring 21 runs. David Miller (55 runs) and Sai Sudarshan (65 runs) scored half-centuries. Rasikh Salam took 3 wickets, while Kuldeep Yadav got 2 wickets.

DC captain Rishabh Pant scored 88 runs on 43 balls. He hit 5 fours and 8 sixes. At the same time, Akshar Patel contributed 66 runs on 43 balls with the help of 5 fours and 4 sixes. There was a century partnership between the two for the fourth wicket. Sandeep Warrier of Gujarat got 3 wickets.
