Uttar Pradesh News: The construction of the mosque on the land given to Muslims in Ayodhya on the orders of the Supreme Court is expected to be completed by December 2023. A senior official of the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust, which is building the mosque, said, "It would be a coincidence that around the time the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is completed, the structure of the mosque would also be completed." The land on which this mosque will be built has been given to the Muslim side in compliance with the Supreme Court's order in the Ram Janmabhoomi Babri Masjid case.

The Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board has constituted the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation Trust for the construction of the mosque. Trust secretary Athar Hussain told PTI on Sunday, "We are hopeful of getting a map of the mosque, hospital, community kitchen, library and research center from the Ayodhya Development Authority by the end of this month. Later, we will start the construction of the mosque."

The name of the mosque will be 'Dhannipur Ayodhya Masjid'

He said, "Though the foundation will start the construction of other things along with the mosque, but because the mosque is small, it is likely to be ready soon. Although no time frame has been fixed for its construction, it is expected that it will be completed by the next year." Within a year (by December 2023), we will complete the structure of the mosque." Hussain informed that the construction of the mosque and other facilities will be done according to the same design that the trust had released earlier. He informed that the name of the mosque will be 'Dhannipur Ayodhya Masjid' while the entire complex of the mosque and all other facilities will be known as 'Maulvi Ahmadullah Shah Complex'. He said that Ahmadullah Shah was a great freedom fighter.

Construction of Ram temple will be completed in 2023

Significantly, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has said that the construction of the grand temple at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya will be completed by December 2023. It is likely that the construction of the mosque will also be completed by this time. Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, had told reporters on October 25 last that the construction of the temple would be completed by December 2023 and after Makar Sankranti in January 2024, formal darshan-worship would be started in the temple.
