Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has officially resigned from his position, a move that has sent ripples through the political landscape. Announcing his decision on the social media platform X, Pradhan clarified his stance by stating that holding the position wasn't a matter of prestige for him. Following the news of the resignation, Abhijit Dipke, the founder of CJP, who has been leading protests at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, shared his thoughts on the development. He stated that if one doesn't fear and refuses to bow before the government, it's possible to secure the resignation of anyone in power. Abhijit Dipke further shared that during the past 1 month, several prominent leaders had approached him, suggesting that he didn't understand the nature of the current government. These leaders claimed that resignations don't happen under this administration. The resignation also drew sharp reactions from the Aam Aadmi Party. Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, took to social media to salute the power of the youth and the GenZ generation, while he congratulated every activist involved in the movement, stating that a corrupt education minister had to resign. Sisodia further remarked that Prime Minister Modi had to bow before the strength of the GenZ generation.

Similarly, AAP MP Sanjay Singh expressed his views on X, hailing the victory of youth and student power, while he stated that the world moves in the direction where the youth lead. Singh claimed that the movement of crores of youth across the country had successfully awakened the Modi government from its Kumbhkaran-like sleep, forcing the resignation of the Education Minister. He emphasized that the fight, which began with the issue of paper leaks, would continue until the goal of employment is achieved, while singh added that from now on, accountability for every mistake in the country would be established, and he congratulated everyone on the victory of the movement with a concluding Jai Hind.

Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury Calls It a Forced Move

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also commented on the resignation, suggesting that the action was long overdue. He stated that this step could have been taken much earlier, and had it been done so, several unfortunate incidents could have been avoided. Chowdhury expressed his belief that the government was ultimately forced by circumstances and pressure to accept Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, rather than it being a proactive decision.
