Delhi: Rahul Gandhi appeared before the Enforcement Directorate on the third day of his interrogation in the National Herald money laundering case. According to sources, the Congress leader told the agency that not a single penny was withdrawn from Young India. Explain that Congress MP Vivek Tankha has sent notices to the Home Minister, Finance Minister and Law Minister after the details of ED's interrogation of Rahul Gandhi came to the media.

The ED's questioning of Rahul Gandhi pertains to alleged financial irregularities in Young India Pvt Ltd, which is being run by the Congress, which also owns the National Herald. This newspaper is published by Associated Journals Limited (AJL) and is owned by Young India.

Rahul Gandhi, embroiled in an alleged money laundering case, told Enforcement Directorate officials that Young India was a not-for-profit company that was incorporated under a special provision of the Companies Act. According to sources, the Congress leader said that not a single penny has been withdrawn from it.

Sources said ED officials denied Rahul Gandhi's claim and alleged that "the company has not done any charitable work since its inception in 2010. The officials told Rahul Gandhi that if there was any charitable work by Young Indian". If done, they should produce documents or evidence."
