Donald Trump has presented a tough challenge to President Joe Biden by winning the New Hampshire GOP primary. Trump's main rival Nikki Haley stood second in this election. Biden did not campaign in the state or put his name on the ballot after New Hampshire flouted new party rules by holding its primary election before South Carolina.

How did Trump win in New Hampshire?

The Associated Press VoteCast showed Trump won big in small towns and rural communities, where nearly two-thirds of primary participants said they live. The majority of GOP voters in the state do not have college degrees and nearly two-thirds of them voted for Trump. The former president won nearly 7 in 10 Republican voters who identified as conservatives and who were registered Republicans. During this, Trump got 58,446 votes. While Nakki Haley got 49371 votes.
