Rajya Sabha Elections: Voting is going to take place today for 15 Rajya Sabha seats. In this, voting will be held on 10 seats in UP, 4 in Karnataka and one in Himachal. Let us tell you that out of 56 Rajya Sabha seats, candidates have already won unopposed on 41 seats. Before the Rajya Sabha voting, there is a lot of stir in UP. 7 MLAs did not attend the dinner of SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav. Since then the fear of cross voting is haunting. Meanwhile, Kunda MLA Raja Bhaiya's party has revealed its cards and said that his party will vote for BJP.

The biggest game can be held in UP

Today voting will be held for 10 Rajya Sabha seats of UP, 4 of Karnataka and 1 of Himachal Pradesh. In all the three states, BJP has spoiled the arithmetic of Congress and Samajwadi Party by fielding candidates. Voting will take place from 9 am to 4 pm and there is a possibility of a big political game in this voting. In UP, BJP has fielded 8 candidates including RPN Singh, Sudhanshu Trivedi, Chaudhary Tejveer Singh, Sadhna Singh, Amarpal Maurya, Sangeeta Balwant, Naveen Jain and Sanjay Seth. Please note that BJP has made Sanjay Seth the eighth candidate. Sanjay Seth's case seems to be stuck. However, BJP claims that their 8th candidate will also win. Whereas, in the Rajya Sabha elections, SP has fielded three candidates Jaya Bachchan, Ramji Lal Suman and Alok Ranjan.

Third candidate will be announced today

However, Akhilesh Yadav has not yet decided the preference of his candidates. If sources are to be believed, Akhilesh Yadav can make Alok Ranjan his third candidate. Akhilesh Yadav will reveal this in the meeting of Indie Alliance at 8 am today. It is being told that Akhilesh Yadav himself will send a secret message of voting to the MLAs today. Samajwadi Party is most afraid of cross voting because on Monday Akhilesh Yadav had called Indi Alliance MLAs for training and dinner, but the taste of SP's dinner got spoiled then. 7 SP MLAs remained missing from this dinner. Rakesh Pandey, Abhay Singh, Rakesh Pratap Singh, Manoj Pandey, Vinod Chaturvedi, Maharaji Prajapati and Pooja Pal did not attend Akhilesh's dinner. It is believed that all these MLAs can vote in favor of BJP.

The path is not easy for NDA also

At the same time, just a day before voting, Jansatta Party chief Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya gave a big blow to Akhilesh Yadav. Raja Bhaiya clearly said that his party will vote for the BJP candidate but still BJP and Samajwadi Party There is a crisis of numbers. To win a seat in the Rajya Sabha elections in UP, votes of 37 MLAs are needed. BJP will need the votes of 296 MLAs to win all the eight candidates, but NDA currently has 287 MLAs i.e. 9 less. While Indi Alliance needs 111 votes to make all three candidates win, they currently have only 108 MLAs, i.e. 3 less.

Big hopes from cross voting

At present BJP has 252 MLAs in the assembly. Allies are 13 from Apna Dal, 9 from RLD, 6 from Nishad Party, 2 from Jansatta Party, 5 from SubhaSP and except Abbas Ansari as he is currently in jail. At the same time, SP has 108 MLAs, out of which two MLAs Ramakant Yadav and Irfan Solanki are in jail. In such a situation, SP is left with 106 MLAs. After adding the two votes of Congress, SP's votes become 108. Now SP's eyes are fixed on Umashankar Singh, a BSP MLA. In such a situation, both BJP and Samajwadi Party have big hopes from cross voting. Now after voting today it will be clear who stayed with whom and who changed sides.
