JAMMU AND KASHMIR / Encounter between security forces and terrorists in Tral, two terrorists killed

An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Tral of Pulwama district of Kashmir division on Wednesday morning. In this, the security forces have killed two terrorists. The terrorists are said to be associated with banned terrorist organizations Ansar Ghazwatul Hind and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

A police officer said that both the terrorists have been identified. One of them is terrorist Safat Muzaffar Sofi alias Movia of Ansar Gajwatul Hind and the other name is Umer Teli alias Talha, who is related to Lashkar-e-Taiba. The two were involved in several terror cases, including the murder of a sarpanch in Khonmoh area of ​​Srinagar, a police officer said. In recent times, both of them had made their hideout in Tral.
