IND vs SA: Team India's tour of South Africa was quite memorable. The T20 series between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw. At the same time, Team India won 2-1 in the ODI series. After this, there was a very exciting contest in the test series and the series remained a draw. But even after this wonderful tour, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was regretful about one thing.

Rohit was left regretting this

After winning the Cape Town Test, the pain of India not winning the Test series in South Africa was clearly visible on Rohit Sharma's face. India made a spectacular comeback after losing by an innings and 32 runs in the series opener in Centurion and won the second Test within five sessions to level the two-match series 1-1. Rohit said after the match that when you come to this part of the world it is always difficult but we are proud of our performance outside India. Africa always presents challenges to us and we can feel proud to come here and win.

Rohit Sharma further said that we would have liked to win the series. We came back very well, especially our bowlers. We had some plans and the players benefited from them. We knew it was going to be a short match, we knew runs would matter so getting a first innings lead was very important.

Lots of praise for Mohammad Siraj

Fast bowler Mohammad Siraj took six wickets for 15 runs and bowled out South Africa for 55 runs in the first session of the first day, thus creating a series-levelling winning streak. Rohit said that Siraj's spell was such that you do not get to see it often. We kept it simple and the pitch did the rest for us. Credit should be given to Siraj and Bumrah and also to Mukesh and Prasidh who supported them as much as they could.
