Maharashtra Farmers / Farmers of Maharashtra will now get 12 thousand rupees, cabinet announced

Maharashtra Farmers: The Maharashtra government made two big announcements for the farmers of the state on Tuesday. Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi scheme has been approved in the cabinet meeting. Now under this scheme, the Maharashtra government will help farmers with Rs 2,000 in a year. Apart from this, the Maharashtra cabinet has also approved the proposal related to availing the benefit of crop insurance for Re 1 to the farmers. While giving gifts to the farmers, the cabinet has approved these two schemes on Tuesday. On behalf of the state government, these two schemes were announced in the budget session of the assembly. Now both these schemes have been approved in the cabinet meeting.

Central and state government together will give 12 thousand

Under the Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers will be provided additional assistance of Rs 6,000 every year by the Government of Maharashtra. This will be different from the help that is given to the farmers by the Center. The Central Government already gives Samman Nidhi of 6 thousand rupees every year to the farmers. Now, if these assistance amounts given by the central and state governments are combined, then every year additional assistance of Rs 12,000 will be provided by the governments to the farmers.

Government will send money in three installments

Under this scheme, the state government will provide money to the farmers in three installments. That is, after taxing 2-2 thousand, this amount will be sent to the farmers in three times. 6900 crore rupees will be spent on the government regarding this scheme and this scheme will benefit about 1.5 crore farmers of the state. At the same time, farmers will also be able to get their crops insured with just one rupee.

While keeping this scheme in the budget session, it was claimed by the government that these schemes would play an important role in the economic improvement of the farmer. To get the benefit of this scheme, the farmer has to apply with some of his important documents. To get the benefit of the scheme, the applicant farmer must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
