Politics News: Senior Congress leader and former Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid seems to be preparing to rebel against the party. He is upset that the Farrukhabad Lok Sabha seat from which he contests has been given to the Samajwadi Party under the seat sharing formula. Samajwadi Party has also made Naval Kishore Shakya its candidate from this seat. Let us inform that SP and Congress formally announced seat sharing in the state on Wednesday under the 'INDI' alliance, under which out of 80 seats in the state, Congress will field its candidates on 17 seats including Rae Bareli and Amethi.

Khurshid said on X, I will not bow down

Angered by Farrukhabad Lok Sabha seat going to Samajwadi Party, Salman Khurshid wrote something on 'X', after which speculations about his rebellion have started. Khurshid wrote on the social media platform, 'How much test will my relations with Farrukhabad have to face? The question is not about me, but about the future of all of us, about the future generations. Never bowed before the decisions of fate. I may break, but will not bend. You promise to support me, I will keep singing songs.' Political pundits believe that Salman Khurshid can contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections as an independent candidate.
