Mahendrajit Singh Malviya: Congress MLA from Bagidaura (Banswara) and former minister Mahendrajit Singh Malviya has joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). As soon as he joined the party, he resigned from the post of MLA. He reached BJP office in Jaipur at around 2 pm. Here he took membership of BJP in the presence of BJP leaders. State President CP Joshi made him join BJP. After joining BJP, Malviya demanded that Mangarh Dham be declared a national monument.

In fact, Malviya was in Delhi for the last three days and was in constant touch with BJP leaders. On Sunday he met Home Minister Amit Shah. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had taken him to meet Shah.

After joining BJP, he said that in 1977 he came back from the village on foot. Traveled up to 50 kilometers in a day. Joined Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Became President on ABVP banner, Vice President on ABVP banner. Now I got a chance to join BJP.

He said that the Sarpanch did not stay even for a day and became the head. Became MP while being Pradhan. BJP cooperated, but Congress did not give a chance. Became the district chief twice. Have been MLA 4 times.

Congress stopped from going to Ram temple

Malviya said that when the Congress party refused to attend the consecration ceremony of Ram temple, I was hurt the most. If I want to develop my area then there is no one to work in tribal areas except BJP. PM Modi's policies have impressed me.

Assembly membership was certain to be lost

Malviya became MLA on Congress ticket. Since he has joined BJP, it was certain that he would lose his membership from the Assembly under the anti-defection law. After Malviya's resignation, by-election is certain to be held on Bagidaura assembly seat of Banswara district. It is believed that by-elections can be held on this seat along with the Lok Sabha elections.

Big blow to Rajasthan Congress

Malviya's joining BJP has dealt a big blow to Congress in the state politics. Senior party leader and CWC member Mahendrajit Singh Malviya is considered a big tribal face in southern Rajasthan. With his departure, Congress's problems will increase further in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

If sources are to be believed, BJP has started Operation Lotus in Rajasthan before the Lok Sabha elections. Under this, the entry of Malviya, a big leader of the tribal area, has been done. There is also speculation that before the Lok Sabha elections, some big leaders of Congress from Marwar, Shekhawati and East Rajasthan may also enter BJP.

Malviya will neither become MLA nor MP now

On Mahendrajit Singh Malviya joining BJP, Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara said that the departure of people like Malviya will not have any impact but the party will become stronger. Last time when he won, there were complaints, he clarified. This time also he tried to defeat everyone. But Ramila, Bamnia, Ghoghra and Ninama emerged victorious. For this reason, last time the party did not make him a minister for two and a half years. This time he was given the ticket thinking that he was a tribal and an old Congressman.

Dotasara said- He knew that this time he would not get a ticket from Congress. Therefore, they have made a desperate attempt to save their existence. He said that Congress never opposed Ram Temple. Ram temple has been built on the orders of the Supreme Court. Malviya has gone on the pretext of Ram temple because his support base has ended. The public has become aware of his suspicious activities. Now he will neither become an MLA nor an MP. There will be no impact from the departure of such a person. If he was such a big leader then why did he have to suffer in Delhi for 3 days? Why did you have to come to Jaipur and join? If BJP was saying that the works of 5 years will be investigated, will these also be investigated?

BJP can field Lok Sabha candidate from Dungarpur-Banswara

Malviya has long political experience. He has contested elections from Sarpanch, Pradhan, MLA and MP. He has a strong support base in southern Rajasthan, especially in Banswara-Dungarpur. BJP can make him the Lok Sabha candidate from Dungarpur-Banswara. Kanakamal Katara is the MP from here.
