In Dumka, Jharkhand, a girl who was burnt with petrol for refusing to marry, has died. The victim, who was sent to RIMS for better treatment, died as soon as she reached there. In Bhalki village of Jarmundi, a 19-year-old girl Maruti Kumari was burnt after pouring petrol. Police has arrested the accused youth Rajesh Raut.According to sources, Rajesh and Maruti were having a love affair earlier. Now both of them had a breakup. The girl had refused to marry. Rajesh Raut, a resident of Maheshpur village of Dumka's Hansdiha police station area, has been married to another girl this year.Even after this, he was pressurizing Maruti Kumari to get married. Maruti Kumari is a resident of Bhairavpur village of Jama. She had come to her maternal grandfather Kishan Rawat's house in Bharatpur Tola of Bhalki village. Late on Thursday night at around one o'clock, the house of Maruti's maternal grandfather was burnt by pouring petrol. Seriously injured Maruthi Kumari was admitted to Phoolo Jhano Medical College Hospital. After this he was referred to RIMS.
