Goa: In Goa's largest medical facility Goa Medical College and Hospital, 74 patients have died in the last 4 days. It is known that all these deaths are allegedly due to lack of medical oxygen. Court has asked for a status report

The court has asked the hospitals and the state administration to file a status report by 7 pm today. In this, information has to be given about the availability of oxygen supplies, tanks, concentrators and drivers. Goa's principal secretary has written a letter to the Center asking for more supplies

CM has stressed that there is no dearth of oxygen supply in the state. However, in a letter sent by Goa Principal Secretary PK Goel to the Central Government, this assertion is contradicted. According to news agency PTI, Goyal has said that between May 1 and 10, Goa was able to get only 66.7 metric tons of oxygen, while 110 metric tons of oxygen were allotted to Goa from Kolhapur in Maharashtra. Kolhapur is currently supplying 40% of the total medical oxygen to Goa.
