Proud moment for me, challenge too: Khanduri

Speaker Ritu Bhushan Khanduri said that it is a proud moment for him to conduct the House for the first time as Speaker. At the same time, there is a challenge for them as well. He has expected the cooperation of all the members of the House to conduct the session peacefully and smoothly. He said that there would be a positive discussion in the House on the issues raised in the state's development and public interest. Equal opportunities will be provided to all the members of the ruling party and the opposition together.

My endeavor will be to empower the democratic institution to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the people. We can do public welfare by keeping control over the executive only by making the House the center of wide discussion for the formulation of policies and laws and matters related to public interest. -Ritu Bhushan Khanduri, Speaker of the Assembly
