Sirohi / Grandmother jumped into the well with grandchildren, the woman was mentally ill

Grandmother jumped into the well with her grandchildren in Sirohi. The children slept with the grandmother. At the same time people say that grandmother was mentally ill.

When the woman's son returned from his farm in the morning, he could not see the mother and the children. After which he started looking for all three around. When he looked into the well, he saw his mother. Hearing his cries, the people around also gathered. When people descended into the well, they saw the dead bodies of children along with the elderly woman. After which people informed the police.

The villagers tried to retrieve the dead bodies with the help of rope but were not successful. Then the water was pulled out by putting a motor in the well and the dead bodies were taken out. Mangalaram Bhil, son of the deceased woman says that his mother was mentally ill.

Both the children Mamta (six years) and Bhaiya (four years) slept with her mother. The husband and wife slept in the other's farm house. Preliminary police investigation revealed that the woman was mentally ill. She jumped into the well with the children.
