MP / sending a video message to the father, the newlyweds jumped in the Chambal river

MP: A 22-year-old newly married woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the Chambal river on Saturday morning in Nagda, Ujjain. Before committing suicide, the woman had informed her parents about her death by sending a video message. Police are searching for the body of the woman.

According to the information, a 22-year-old newly married Poonam in Nagda jumped into the Chambal river by sending a video message to her family members at 5.30 am on Saturday. In the video message, she has said, "Mother-father, you wanted me to die, so I am dying".

It is being told that this video was made at Nayan Ghat of Chambal river, after which the family members started searching for the woman. When he reached Nayan Ghat seen in the video, he found his chunari, mobile and slippers there. After this the incident was reported to Birlagram police, on which the police reached the spot and started searching for the married woman. A swim team was also called from Ujjain to find the married woman, but till now no information could be found till night.

According to the information received, the married woman is a resident of Baravada. A few months back, she was married to Suraj Singh Sisodia, a resident of ABC Line. At present, the search for a married woman is on. The police have also confiscated the mobile phone found on the Chambal coast and are also checking its call details.

According to Birlagram police station in-charge, 22-year-old Poonam's father Surajsinh Sisodia had gone somewhere on Saturday morning by locking the house outside. Around 5.30 am, he sent a video message to his family members, in which he has spoken of suicide. At present, the search is on with the help of divers. The details are being extracted after confiscating the mobile found near the river.
