RR vs GT: In the 24th match of IPL 2024, Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 3 wickets in a thrilling match. Batting first, Rajasthan scored 196 runs. In reply, Gujarat achieved the target on the last ball. Gujarat had to score 15 runs in the last over and Rashid Khan gave victory to Gujarat by hitting a four on the last ball. Avesh Khan was bowling the last over for Rajasthan but he could not stop Tewatia and Rashid Khan.

Tewatia-Rashid won

Captain Shubman Gill had an important contribution in Gujarat's victory. He scored 72 runs in 44 balls. However, in the last overs, Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan did amazing hitting to ensure Gujarat's victory. Tewatia played an inning of 22 runs in 11 balls, while Rashid scored unbeaten 24 runs in 11 balls.

• First ball: Avesh Khan bowled a full toss which Rashid Khan delivered to the square leg area for a four.
• Second ball- Rashid Khan took two runs in the long on area.
• Third ball- Rashid Khan again hit a four. This time the ball passed through wicketkeeper Sanju Samson. The Rajasthan captain could not stop the ball that came from the edge of Rashid's bat.
• Fourth ball- Rashid Khan took a run on Avesh Khan's yorker.
• Fifth ball- Rahul Tewatia scored two runs on the ball of Avesh Khan, while trying to take the third run he was run out.
• Sixth ball- Rajasthan needed two runs on the last ball and Rashid Khan gave the team victory by hitting a four.

Riyan-Sanju's innings went in vain

Ryan Parag and captain Sanju Samson batted well for Rajasthan Royals. Riyan Parag scored 76 runs on the basis of 5 sixes and 3 fours. Whereas Sanju Samson scored unbeaten 68 runs in 38 balls. A total of 9 boundaries including 2 sixes came from Samson's bat. Talking about Gujarat's bowlers, Rashid Khan took one wicket for just 18 runs in 4 overs.
