Cricket | India's star off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has done something, due to which he is trending on Twitter. In fact, on his Instagram story, he paid tribute to Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, who was killed inside the Golden Temple on the 37th anniversary of Operation Blue Star, and tried to call him a 'martyr'. However, he did not explicitly name Bhindranwale during this period. Let us tell you that Operation Blue Star was carried out from June 1 to June 8, 1984 at the Golden Temple in Amritsar. This was a big mission done by the Indian Army.

At that time the Prime Minister of the country was Indira Gandhi and this operation was carried out to correct the deteriorating law and order in Punjab. Although Harbhajan did not explicitly name Bhindranwale, his Instagram story featured Bhindranwale's picture prominently. So far no statement has come from Harbhajan's side on this whole matter. Here's how people are trolling him-

Harbhajan has so far taken 417 wickets in 103 Test matches for Team India. In 236 ODIs, Harbhajan has 269 wickets in his name. Apart from this, he has taken 25 wickets in 28 T20 matches. Harbhajan was seen playing for KKR in the 14th season of the Indian Premier League this year. Bhajji played three matches for the team, but he was not able to take a single wicket. KKR bought Harbhajan at his base price. Harbhajan was earlier part of the team of Chennai Super Kings and played for them for two years. In IPL 2020, the off-spinner withdrew from the tournament citing personal reasons.
