India-Pakistan War: India has once again given a befitting reply to Pakistan by taking a tough stand against terrorism. Under Operation Sindoor, the Indian Army successfully demolished 9 terrorist hideouts within Pakistan. This action was taken at around 1:30 am on the night of 6-7 May 2025, in which three Pakistani terrorists have also been confirmed killed. After this precise and restrained airstrike, panic was seen from Pakistan's side and it continued its nefarious activities and fired heavily on the Line of Control (LoC).

Attack on innocent civilians

Three innocent Indian civilians lost their lives in this indiscriminate firing by Pakistan, in which the death of a woman has been confirmed by the District Officer of Poonch. This firing by Pakistan has once again proved that it is not refraining from promoting terrorism. In response, the Indian Army also took action with full force, in which Pakistan has also suffered heavy losses.

Continuous tension on the LoC

On the night of 6-7 May, Pakistan attacked residential areas in the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir - Poonch, Rajouri, Samba, Kathua and Kupwara - with artillery and mortars. This disrupted normal life and people were forced to take shelter in underground bunkers for their safety. The Jammu Divisional Commissioner has given instructions to temporarily close all schools, colleges and educational institutions as a precaution.

India's strategic responsibility

After the Pahalgam attack, India had made it clear that there would be no compromise against terrorism. Operation Sindoor is the result of this policy, in which India not only targeted terrorist structures, but also gave a message on the global stage that it is capable of taking precise action while maintaining restraint. In a statement issued by the Defense Ministry, it was clarified that Pakistani military establishments were not targeted in this operation, which clearly shows India's sensitivity and responsibility.
