CM Champai has said that JMM will take a decision on whether arrested Hemant Soren should be fielded against BJP's Sita Soren from Dumka Lok Sabha seat. Will Kalpana Soren become CM?

He has said that JMM party will take a decision in a week regarding the candidature of Hemant Soren's wife Kalpana from Gandey assembly seat. Champai said that if Kalpana contests the assembly elections and wins, JMM will decide whether she will become the chief minister.

When will elections be held in Jharkhand?

Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be conducted in a total of 7 phases. Elections will start from April 19. Elections for 14 seats in Jharkhand will be held in the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh phases on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1. At the same time, the election results will be released by the Election Commission on June 4.
