After Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Pathan', Adipurush has become the second film to enter the 300 crore club in just 3 days. However, even after entering this club, the film could not break the record of first weekend collection of 'Pathan'. While 'Pathan' did a worldwide collection of Rs 351 crores in the first weekend, 'Adipurush' lagged behind by Rs 11 crores.

Activists of a Hindu organization in Nalasopara, Mumbai, stopped the show of the film on Sunday evening. They reached the theater and raised slogans and asked the audience to leave the hall. After this the show was cancelled.

Hinduist organizations took out a rally in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh on Sunday evening. The workers barged inside Magneto Mall, raising slogans. They also broke the barricading of the police. After this sitting in front of the hall started reciting Hanuman Chalisa. The police arrested them and removed them.

Bhartiya Kisan Union burnt effigies of director Om Raut and writer Manoj Muntashir at Hazratganj Kotwali in Lucknow. He said that this film has been made to make fun of Sanatan Dharma. Members of the Bharatiya Kisan Union say that nothing will happen just by changing the dialogues of the film. He has demanded a complete ban on this film.

Makers decided to change the dialogue

After the controversy, the makers of the film have decided to change the dialogue of the film in view of the growing protest over the controversial dialogue. The film's writer Manoj Muntashir clarified by tweeting on Sunday that the controversial dialogues from the film will be removed this week.

Hindi films including Adipurush banned in Kathmandu and Pokhara

After Kathmandu in Nepal, it has now been decided not to show Adipurush and other Hindi films in Pokhara as well. The Nepalese Censor Board has objected to Sita being described as India's daughter in the film. Nepal Censor Board says that Sitaji was not born in India, but in Janakpur, Nepal.

There was a change in the film even on the objection of Nepal.
