PM Modi & Amit Shah: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has arrived to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has returned from a 6-day foreign tour. According to information received from sources, Home Minister Amit Shah has reached PM's residence to inform PM Modi about the latest situation in Manipur. Earlier on Sunday, N Biren Singh had met the Home Minister. During this, he told that the situation in the state is now under control and the situation will improve soon.

After the meeting, N Biren Singh tweeted, "Met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today and briefed him about the changing situation on the ground in Manipur. Under the close supervision of Amit Shah, the state and central governments have been able to control the violence to a great extent in the last week.'' Singh said there was no report of any casualty due to the violence since June 13. The chief minister said the home minister assured him that the central government would take all possible steps to bring back normalcy in Manipur.
