Lok Sabha Election: The dates of Lok Sabha elections 2024 were announced today on Saturday. According to the Election Commission, elections will be held in 7 phases on 80 seats of Uttar Pradesh. Lok Sabha elections in the state will start from April 19 and end on June 1 while the results will be declared on June 4. Voting in the state will start from the seats of Western UP and end from the seats of Purvanchal. From electoral point of view, the eyes of political parties are on Uttar Pradesh, the state with the highest number of seats. In such a situation, the question arises that if elections are held in 7 phases, it is favorable for the BJP led NDA, then can the alliance of opposition parties increase problems for India?

BJP has planned to win all the 80 Lok Sabha seats of the state in 2024, for which it has also increased the clan of its alliance. At the same time, SP may have formed an alliance with Congress, but BSP chief Mayawati is trying her luck in the election field alone. The situation in UP looks like 2014. Since elections will be held in 7 phases in the state, there will be full time for campaigning. In such a situation, the biggest faces of BJP, PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath, will give their full strength, due to which the electoral atmosphere keeps changing step by step. Will it become a cause of tension for SP-Congress alliance?

The government benefiting from long elections?

Voting will be held in the Lok Sabha elections in UP from the first phase to the last phase i.e. the seventh phase. In this way, election atmosphere will be seen in UP for about one and a half months. The way the Election Commission is conducting voting for 8 to 14 Lok Sabha seats in every phase, it definitely helps the Commission in dealing with all the challenges. But on the other hand, it is also being said that the ruling party gets the political benefit of long elections.

This pattern has been seen in the last 2 Lok Sabha elections. Political analysts attribute this to the fact that the ruling party gets full time to end the anti-incumbency wave against itself. Apart from this, PM Modi can also campaign on the seats of every phase in UP. BJP has been getting the benefit of PM Modi holding election rallies.

Elections will be held in every phase in UP

UP elections will be held in every phase, at that time elections will also be taking place in different states. There is election in the second phase for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's Wayanad seat, due to which initially Rahul Gandhi and all the big leaders of Congress will be focusing on Kerala. Elections will be held in the sixth phase in Delhi and in the seventh phase in Punjab, whereas in Bihar, elections will be held in all seven phases. In this way, the leaders of the opposition alliance will be busy in the election campaign of their respective states.

If Akhilesh Yadav will be alone in the election battle from the opposition side in UP, then all the BJP leaders will be camping continuously. While Kejriwal's entire focus will be on Punjab and Delhi, Tejashwi Yadav will remain busy in Bihar. The entire election in UP will depend on Akhilesh Yadav and how many areas he can reach. At that time, he has the responsibility of making his wife Dimple Yadav and his family also win the seats. Whereas the entire army of BJP will be in the election field.

long time for election campaign

With Lok Sabha elections being held in seven phases, there will be ample time for election campaigning. There is a gap of six to seven days in each phase, due to which after the election campaign in one phase is over, there will be enough time to create a political atmosphere on the seats in the second phase. In this way, rallies of PM Modi and CM Yogi can be organized in every phase of election campaign in the state. Narendra Modi is considered the guarantee of victory for BJP. Since 2014, BJP has been winning in the name and face of Narendra Modi. CM Yogi also has his own image in UP. When Modi and Yogi enter the electoral battle, there will be a change in the political environment.
