Akhilesh Yadav News: During the ongoing budget session in the Parliament of India, Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav strongly cornered the government over the Maha Kumbh accident. The SP President questioned the government on the loss of life in the Maha Kumbh and demanded the release of the death toll. He also said that 2 minutes of silence should be observed in Parliament on this issue, and he himself will stand up and pay tribute during this time.

Akhilesh Yadav said in strong words that the government should make the figure of the dead in the Maha Kumbh public. He also demanded that silence be observed for the dead in Parliament and everyone should pay their tribute at that time. During this, he also said that if the government proves that the claim of arranging 100 crore people to come to the Maha Kumbh was false, then he is ready to resign.

Mahakumbh accident: Question on government's responsibility

Akhilesh Yadav accused the Uttar Pradesh government of publicizing the arrival of 100 crore devotees in Mahakumbh, but after the accident, the government neither shared the figures of the dead nor took the situation seriously. He said that people had come to Mahakumbh to earn merit, but many devotees lost their lives and the government was not accepting it. Yadav also said that the government erased the figures and hid information to suppress the issue.

The SP president alleged that there was also a delay in expressing condolences from the government after the accident. He said, "When the Prime Minister and the President expressed condolences, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh expressed condolences 17 hours later."

Demand for all-party meeting and strict action

Akhilesh Yadav made several important demands regarding the Mahakumbh accident. He said that:

The figures of the dead and injured in the Mahakumbh accident should be presented in Parliament.

The government should call an all-party meeting, in which this issue should be discussed.

Strict action should be taken on the shortcomings in the management of the accident.

A proposal should be made to hand over the responsibility of the lost and found center to the army.

Information about the treatment of the victims of the Mahakumbh accident and the availability of food and water should be given in Parliament.

Questions on the 'double engine' government of Uttar Pradesh

Akhilesh Yadav also attacked the 'double engine' government of Uttar Pradesh and raised the question that despite the claim of investment of Rs 40 lakh crore, what results are visible on the ground. He also said that now reports are coming that not only the engines of the double engine government, but also the coaches are colliding with each other. Through this statement, he indicated that there is a big difference between the government's claim and reality in the state.

Akhilesh Yadav stressed during this time that strict action should be taken against those responsible for the Mahakumbh accident, and the government should accept its failure and share the truth with the people of the country and the state.

Akhilesh Yadav's allegations and demands on this entire incident have given a new challenge to the government, and it has also highlighted the seriousness of the Maha Kumbh tragedy within the Parliament and among the public.
