An Indian Air Force (IAF) Sukhoi-30MKI fighter jet crashed in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam on Thursday evening. According to official reports, the aircraft was on a routine training mission when it suddenly disappeared from radar screens. The jet had taken off from the Jorhat airbase in Assam.
