Eight cricketers included in the Under-19 World Cup team are participating in this IPL bid.

Big bid can be made on Yash

Captain Yash Dhul, (Delhi) Raj Bawa, Harnoor Singh (Chandigarh), Rajvardhan Hungargekar, Vicky Ostwal, Kaushal Tambe (Maharashtra), Anishwar Gautam (Karnataka), Vasu Vats (UP) have been included in the IPL mega bidding. However, during the course of the bidding, if any franchise requests the BCCI to include these cricketers in the bid, then they can be given a place. Yash Dhul, who played 82 against South Africa and 110 against Australia, may have a base price of 20 lakhs, but he is sure to be bidding for crores.

HungerGecker's base price is Rs 30 lakh

The base price of all players except Hungergekar is Rs 20 lakh. All-rounder Hungergekar has kept his price at Rs 30 lakh. This will be the first bid of all these cricketers in the IPL. Hungergekar has been in excellent form in the World Cup. He is a master at hitting big shots in the lower order. He has also been the strike bowler of Team India.

Pant, Gill, Shaw became millionaires in IPL from World Cup

The stars of the Under-19 World Cup have been making a splash in the IPL bid. Ravi Bishnoi, who took the highest 17 wickets in the 2020 World Cup, was bought by Kings XI Punjab for two crores that year. Man of the Tournament Yashasvi Jaiswal was bought by Rajasthan Royals for 2.40 crores, and fast bowler Karthik Tyagi was bought by the same team for 1.3 crores, captain Priyam Garg was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 1.9 crores.

Prithvi Shaw, the captain of the team that won the 2018 World Cup, was bought by Delhi Daredevils in the auction for 1.2 crores. KKR included Kamlesh Nagarkotti for 3.2 crores, Shivam Mavi for three crores and Shubman Gill for 1.8 crores. At the same time, Rishabh Pant, the vice-captain of the team that reached the final of the 2016 World Cup, was bought by Delhi Daredevils for 1.9 crores.
