The pace of corona is slowing down in India. After record vaccination on Monday, the country got another big relief on Tuesday. Within the last 24 hours, only 42 thousand 640 new cases of corona virus have come in the country, which is at the lowest level in more than 3 months. For the first time in the last 91 days, less than 50 thousand new cases of corona virus have been registered inside the country.

For the first time in the last 91 days, less than 50 thousand new cases of corona virus have been registered inside the country. It is also a matter of comfort that now the active cases of corona virus in the country have come down to just 6 lakh 62 thousand 521. This is the first time in 79 days that the number of patients treated for corona has come below 7 lakh. However, during this period, Corona has also killed 1167 patients. Now the death toll from Corona in the country has reached 3 lakh 89 thousand 302.

A total of 2 crore 89 lakh 26 thousand 38 corona patients have been cured in the country so far and out of these 81 thousand 839 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours. For the 40th consecutive day, the number of people recovering from corona has been more than its new cases.

A record 86 lakh 16 thousand doses of vaccine were given across the country on Monday. At the same time, a total of 28.87 crore doses have been given so far under the vaccination campaign that started from January 16.

In the last 24 hours, 16 lakh 64 thousand 360 samples of corona have been tested inside the country. According to ICMR, a total of 39 crore 40 lakh 72 thousand 142 samples of corona have been tested since the beginning of the epidemic.
