R Madhusudan, Counselor in India's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, made the remarks at the UN General Assembly meeting on 'Report of the Security Council for 2020' on Friday.

Madhusudan said in the General Assembly, "India wants normal friendly relations with all countries including Pakistan. It has been our consistent position that if there is any issue between India and Pakistan, it should be resolved peacefully, that too without fear." , in an environment free from hostility and violence. It is the responsibility of Pakistan to take credible, coercive action and create a conducive environment by not allowing its territory to be used for cross-border terrorism against India in any manner."

Earlier, Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram, raised the issue of Jammu and Kashmir in his remarks. To which the Indian official said that it is unfortunate that Pakistan is constantly involved in such acts which do not suit the platform.

'Pakistan wants to misuse UNGA's platform'

"It is clear that this delegation will no longer be able to fool the international community," Madhusudan said. Pakistan wants to misuse the platform of UNGA and has once again raised the internal issues of my country. The decisions taken by the Parliament of India on the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh are internal matters of India.
