At the same time, the match between India and Australia in the Super 8 is also fixed, about which the ICC has also confirmed from its side. The ICC had already made it clear that even if the Indian team finishes in any of the first 2 places in its group, it will still be considered A1. At the same time, even if the Australian team finishes first in its group, it will be considered B2 team.

India will face Australia on the ground of St. Lucia

After the decision of the ICC, it has become clear that the match will be played between India and Australia. This match between the two teams will be held on June 24 at the ground of St. Lucia. This will be the third and last match of the Indian team in the Super 8, before this they will have to play 2 more matches for which the teams are yet to be decided. Team India will play its first match in the Super 8 stage on June 20 at the Barbados ground, while after this it has to play its next match on June 22 at the Antigua ground. The Indian team is yet to play its last match in Group A in which it will face the Canadian team which will be played on June 15 at the Florida ground. After this, Team India will leave to play all its next matches in the West Indies.

If we look at the record of the Indian team against Australia in the T20 World Cup, it has been better so far, in which they have played a total of 5 matches against the Kangaroo team in the history of this tournament so far, in which Team India has won 3 matches, while the Australian team has won 2 matches. In the 2010 T20 World Cup, when India and Australia faced each other at the Bridgetown Stadium in the West Indies, the Kangaroo team won the match by 49 runs.
