Jammu and Kashmir / Indian Army gets big success in Poonch, one terrorist killed, 2 injured

Jammu and Kashmir: A continuous campaign is being conducted against the terrorists in the valley, but they are not desisting from their antics. The latest case is of Shahpur in Poonch, where a terrorist has been killed and 2 others injured in an operation by the Indian Army. Significantly, despite all the efforts of the army, terrorists are active in Kashmir. Recently, the Baramulla police had arrested two accused who had fled from custody. 2 terrorists kept in custody at police station Baramulla had escaped. Both were booked under relevant sections of law.

Both the absconding terrorists were related to the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Police had told that both the terrorists were being brought to Baramulla police station, on the way both the terrorists escaped by dodging the police.

Both the absconding terrorists were identified as Maroof Nazir and Shahid Showkat of terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. Both the terrorists were involved in the attack on the liquor shop in Baramulla. At that time both these terrorists were arrested by the police.

The police had come to know in the investigation that both these terrorist organizations were working for Lashkar-e-Taiba. After this incident, the police started the search operation.
