IndiGo Airbus Deal / Indigo overtakes Tata, orders 500 aircraft to Airbus

IndiGo Airbus Deal: The country's largest airline Indigo is now going to be bigger than before. The company has made the biggest deal in the history of aviation sector and has ordered 500 aircraft to the European airline. This is a bigger deal than Tata Group's recent deal of 470 aircraft for Air India. With this order, 500 new A320 aircraft will be included in Indigo's fleet. With this order, the partnership between Airbus and Indigo has become stronger.

Airbus 1330 aircraft near Indigo

Indigo said in a statement that since its inception in 2006, it has been continuously buying Airbus aircraft. The new order will further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two companies. Including the aircraft of this order, there will be a total of 1330 Airbus aircraft in Indigo's fleet.

Airbus a symbol of trust and savings

Regarding Airbus A320neo aircraft, Indigo says that due to these aircraft, it helps in keeping its operating cost low and maintaining better fuel efficiency. Along with this, it also follows the high standard of trust.

Peter Albers, CEO of Indigo, says that this order of Indigo is historic. In the next decade, the company's order book will be around 1000 aircraft. This will also fulfill IndiGo's resolve to contribute to India's economic growth and accelerate mobility.

Indigo operates more than 300 aircraft. Earlier he had ordered 480 aircraft whose supply is still going on. The order for 500 new aircraft has been placed for 2030-2025.
