New Delhi : Navjot Singh Sidhu is becoming the neck bone of the Congress high command in Punjab as it seems that the Siapa of Punjab Congress cannot end with Sidhu. Two-three days ago, Rahul Gandhi had met Navjot Singh Sidhu, after which he withdrew his resignation from the Punjab Congress post. However, now Sidhu has created a new ruckus by writing an open letter to Sonia Gandhi. Sidhu has also written a letter to Sonia and has also questioned the appointment of Charanjit Singh Channi as the CM and also asked the Punjab government to give instructions to work on 13 issues.

It is clear from Sidhu's letter that despite meeting Rahul Gandhi, his displeasure remains. Sidhu has written an open letter to Sonia urging her to instruct the Punjab government to work on 13 issues. Simultaneously, Sidhu has also sought time to meet Sonia to discuss these issues. In the letter, Sidhu described himself as the Punjab Congress President and said that he has the responsibility of keeping an eye on the government.

Questions raised on Channi's appointment

Navjot Singh Sidhu may have been saying that he is not greedy for the post of CM, but he has been making statements about not being made the Chief Minister. In a letter to Sonia Gandhi, Sidhu has said that a Dalit was made CM in Punjab but Dalit society across the state did not get equal representation. Sidhu has demanded from Sonia that one minister should be made from religious Sikh community, two from backward society and two from Doaba area in Channi cabinet. Let us inform that Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi Ramdasiya is a Sikh.

Let us tell you that there is not even 6 months left in the assembly elections in Punjab and the Congress is not able to overcome the mutual discord. Within a week of the formation of Channi government, Sidhu surprised everyone by resigning from the post of Punjab Congress. Sidhu was upset with the Channi government over the appointment of the state's DGP and Advocate General, citing the reason he resigned. Navjot Singh Sidhu was made Congress state president in July this year.

Two days ago, after a long meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Sidhu had said that everything has been resolved. However, now it is clear from Sidhu's letter that even Rahul Gandhi could not overcome his displeasure and Sidhu is also not in a mood to reduce his attitude.
