Punjab News: Congress is busy preparing for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In Punjab also, Congress is preparing to make its election strategy. In view of this, an important meeting of the Election Committee of Congress was held on 1 February. Party leader Navjot Singh Sidhu was missing from this meeting. He had a separate meeting with some other Congress leaders. Now the Congress party is preparing to take strict action against Navjot Singh Sidhu in this matter.

There is news quoting Punjab Congress sources that Congress can issue a show cause notice to Navjot Singh Sidhu. It is being told that there is a rally of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge in Samrala, Ludhiana on 11th February in Punjab. After the rally, the party will take action against Sidhu. In this matter, all the leaders of Punjab Congress have also united in front of Congress in-charge Devendra Yadav.

Sidhu did not attend the election committee meeting

In fact, an important meeting was held at the Punjab Congress Bhawan in Chandigarh in the presence of Congress in-charge Devendra Yadav regarding the Lok Sabha elections. Navjot Singh Sidhu did not attend this meeting, rather he held a separate meeting with former Pradhan Lal Singh, Shamsher Singh Dulon and Mohinder KP. Not only this, Sidhu had also shared the picture of this meeting on his social media, in the caption of which he had written that former Congress Presidents of Punjab held a meeting on the political situation in Punjab.

Congress can issue show cause notice

This has created a stir in the Congress. Congress is preparing to take disciplinary action against Sidhu for not attending the meeting. For which Congress can issue a show cause notice to him.

‘Differences will be resolved through dialogue’

However, Punjab Congress in-charge Devendra Yadav, while talking to TV 9, said that many other leaders did not attend the election committee meeting. In such a situation, it is not right to point fingers at anyone. He said that neither any notice has been issued to anyone nor is it needed. He said that there are some mutual differences, which efforts are being made to resolve through dialogue. It is hoped that all differences will be resolved soon.
