Chandrayaan 3: ISRO Chief S Somnath has given a big statement regarding Pragyan Rover of Chandrayaan 3. He has said that the rover can become active again on the lunar surface. During a program in Kochi, when S Somnath was asked whether the rover would become active again, the ISRO Chief replied that there was every possibility of it.

He said that it is another matter that the rover is currently in slip mode on the lunar surface but it cannot be denied that it cannot become active again. He said that it is sleeping peacefully on the surface of the moon. Let him sleep well. We will not bother him. When it needs to wake up from sleep, it will wake up on its own. We will not disturb it.

Objective of Chandrayaan-3 mission accomplished

ISRO chief said that the objective of Chandrayaan-3 mission has been accomplished. Trying to find out the scientific data collected through this mission. This mission included a lander and a rover. Everyone completed the work at their own level. On September 2, the rover was sent into slip mode. All the payloads were switched off before putting Vikram and the rover to sleep so that they could continue to function properly till morning.

On September 22, ISRO tried to establish contact with the lander Vikram and rover Pragyan of its lunar mission Chandrayaan-3 but till now no signal has been received from them. Earlier, after landing on the Moon on August 23, the lander, rover and payload conducted experiments one after the other so that they could be completed within 14 days. One day on the Moon is equal to 14 days on Earth.

India created history on 23rd August

Chandrayaan-3 created history by reaching the south pole of the Moon at 6.04 pm on August 23. With this, India became the first country in the world to land on the South Pole. This is because no country has yet been able to reach the south pole of the Moon. Earlier, Russia, America and China had set foot on the moon, but they could not land on the South Pole.
