A massive fire broke out in a six-story residential building in Jaipur's Kalwar area, destroying 15 vehicles in the parking lot. Over 80 residents were safely evacuated by police and fire services.

A major fire incident occurred in the Kalwar police station area of Jaipur, causing significant panic in a six-story residential building. The blaze, which originated in the parking area, quickly escalated, leading to the destruction of 15 vehicles, including 3 cars and 12 motorcycles. During the incident, more than 80 residents were trapped inside the building as thick smoke engulfed the premises. Upon receiving the information, the Kalwar police and fire department teams rushed to the spot to initiate rescue operations.

Chaos and Panic in the Residential Complex

The fire created an atmosphere of chaos and fear among the residents and locals. As the flames spread through the parking lot, the vehicles parked there caught fire one after another. The sight of 3 cars and 12 motorcycles being consumed by flames caused widespread panic. The smoke from the burning vehicles and the fire quickly rose through the building, making it extremely difficult for the 80 people trapped inside to breathe. The intensity of the flames was visible from a distance, adding to the terror of the situation.

Emergency Response and Rescue Operations

Upon receiving the emergency call, the Kalwar police station team and several fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the location. Kalwar Station House Officer (SHO) Dilip Singh stated that the priority was to evacuate the trapped residents safely. The police, with the active assistance of local residents, launched a coordinated rescue mission. The fire department personnel worked tirelessly to douse the flames in the parking area while simultaneously helping people exit the smoke-filled building. The sight of the massive flames leaping out of the parking zone had created a sense of terror among the onlookers and those living in the vicinity, while for safety reasons, the police also evacuated the surrounding area to prevent any further mishaps.

Extensive Damage and Suspected Cause

The firefighting operation lasted for about 1 hour before the blaze was brought under complete control. While the fire caused significant property damage, the prompt action of the fire department and the police ensured that there was no loss of life. The 3 cars and 12 motorcycles parked in the basement were reduced to charred remains, representing a heavy financial loss for the owners. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire might have been caused by a short circuit in the building's electrical system. However, the police are currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire and to assess the total extent of the damage caused to the residential property. The timely intervention of the emergency services prevented what could have been a much larger tragedy in the densely populated residential area.
