Rajasthan News: Rajasthan Government has suspended Jaipur Municipal Corporation Heritage Mayor Munesh Gurjar. DLB director Hridesh Kumar Sharma told that the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) had arrested mayor husband Sushil Gurjar and his two brokers red-handed while accepting a bribe amount of Rs 2 lakh. During this, more than 41 lakh cash has also been recovered from his house. In such a situation, it is believed that the ACB team may soon interrogate Mayor Munesh as well.
At the same time, the file of the lease of the complainant was also received from the mayor's residence during the proceedings. At that time Mayor Munesh Gurjar was present at the house.
At the same time, in his presence, a bribe amount of Rs 2 lakh was taken by the mayor's husband. In the initial investigation of this whole case, there is a suspicion of the connivance of the Mayor.
Hridesh Kumar Sharma said- There is every possibility of affecting the pending investigation process if he continues on the post of Mayor.
Keeping this in mind, using the powers under Section 39(6) of the Rajasthan Municipal Act 2009, Munesh Gurjar has been suspended from the post of Mayor and Councilor with immediate effect.
At the same time, Minister Pratapsingh Khachariawas said – This decision of the Rajasthan government is welcome. Any person who commits corruption.

Khachariawas said- I want the recording done by ACP. That recording should be made public. So that the general public also knows how these people were doing corruption.
Khachariawas said that we had made Congress mayor for the welfare of the people. It was not made for corruption and theft.
Khachariawas said- At present, the Rajasthan ACB team is probing the entire matter. In such a situation, if these people are found guilty in the investigation, then action will be taken against them not only for suspension but also for dismissal.
Khachariawas also retaliated on the allegations leveled by Mayor husband Sushil Gurjar on Councilor Manoj Mudgal. He said that earlier he himself has been caught in the case of theft.
