Saharanpur News: UP ATS has arrested a suspected terrorist associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed and Pakistan's organization Tehreek-e-Taliban from Saharanpur. ATS has arrested terrorist Mohammad Nadeem, resident of Gangoh in Saharanpur. ATS has recovered from Mohammad Nadeem various types of IEDs and training literature of Fidai Force to make bombs. Police claimed that Nadeem told during interrogation that he was given the task of killing Nupur Sharma on behalf of Jaish.

UP ATS has arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Mohammad Nadeem. According to the information, he was also associated with the terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban along with Jaish. Mohammad Nadeem was in direct contact with terrorists from Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Terrorist attack was prepared

The UP ATS had done all this exercise in preparation for any major terrorist attack in the state. UP ATS had received information from allied agencies that a person influenced by the ideology of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Tehreek-e-Taliban is preparing for a fidayeen attack.

Important clues found from the phone

Chats and voice messages from Jaish-e-Mohammed and Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorists of Pakistan and Afghanistan have also been received from the phone of arrested Mohammad Nadeem. According to the information received, in March 2019, the top commander of Pakistan's terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed came to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.

This disclosure came after the arrest of suspected Jaish terrorists Shahnawaz Teli and Aaqib Ahmed Malik arrested from Deoband in Saharanpur. Both have told the ATS during interrogation that apart from staying in Deoband, the top commander also went to some major cities of UP and also met some people there.

Police made this big claim

Police have claimed that Nadeem was in direct contact with the terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. Influenced by the ideology of Jaish and Tehreek-e-Taliban, he was preparing for a fidayeen attack. A PDF file related to the fidayeen blast has also been found from Nadeem's mobile. Chat, voice messages have been received from Jaish-e-Mohammed and TTP terrorists from his mobile.

Preparations for fidayeen attack

Police have claimed that Nadeem was linked to Jaish and TTP terrorists through WhatsApp, Telegram, IMO, Facebook Messenger, Clubhouse. He had made foreign terrorists more than 30 virtual numbers, social media IDs. Police said that the Pakistani terrorist of TTP had trained Nadeem in the fidayeen attack through social media. According to the police, Mohammad Nadeem told during interrogation that JeM and TTP terrorists operating in Pakistan and Afghanistan were calling him for special training. On which he would go to Pakistan with a visa and bring training from Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Nadeem admitted during interrogation that he was tasked to kill Nupur Sharma by Jaish-e-Mohammed and Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorists. Suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma came into limelight after her alleged controversial remarks on Hazrat Prophet. Nadeem has also given information about some of his Indian contacts to the ATS. On which further investigation is being done.
