PM Modi Jammu Kashmir Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Srinagar tour today. On Thursday, he gave many gifts worth Rs 6400 crore to Jammu and Kashmir. He laid the foundation stone and inaugurated 53 development schemes during the 'Developed India, Developed Jammu Kashmir' program at Bakshi Stadium in Srinagar. The objective of these projects is to promote agriculture, tourism and economy. After this he addressed a huge public meeting. During this, PM Modi said that Jammu and Kashmir is not just a region but the head of India. I will pay the debt of Jammu and Kashmir.

PM Modi said that people were waiting for this new Kashmir for many decades. He said that the sparkle of the future is visible in the eyes of the youth here. The people here are now living peacefully. PM Modi said that there is hope in the eyes of the new Jammu. PM Modi said that I will pay the debt of Jammu and Kashmir. Modi's love will leave no stone unturned to repay this debt.

He said that earlier people used to buy peace. Today the youth have a laptop in their hands instead of a stone. The Prime Minister has written a new history by creating a new Jammu and Kashmir. Now Jammu and Kashmir has no chains on its feet. I think the day is not far when Kashmir will contribute the most to developed India.

Tight security arrangements in Srinagar

Strict security arrangements have been made in view of PM Modi's visit to Srinagar. Strict vigil is being maintained from water, land and sky. NSG commando has taken charge for the security of the Prime Minister. Sharp shooters have been deployed around the rally venue. CRPF and police are keeping an eye on every nook and corner. MI-17 helicopters of the Air Force are keeping a close watch from the sky. Apart from this, monitoring is being done through CCTV and drones. At the same time, Marcos commandos are ready, that is, there are strict security arrangements at every nook and corner in Srinagar.

2.5 lakh farmers will get skill development training from Daksh Kisan Portal.

This is PM's first visit to Kashmir after the removal of Article 370. The PM has special attention to give impetus to the agro-economy. PM is launching the 'Comprehensive Agricultural Development Programme' from today, in which skill development training will be given to about 2.5 lakh farmers through the Daksh Kisan Portal. Under this scheme, about two thousand Kisan Khidmat Ghar will also be established.

To give a boost to the tourism sector, more than Rs 1400 crore will be spent under the Pradhan Mantri Swadesh Darshan and Prasad Yojana, under which ‘Integrated Development of Hazratbal Teerth’ will be dedicated to the nation. Under this scheme, important religious places, experience centres, eco-tourism sites as well as tourist circuits will be developed in the entire country.

PM will announce 42 selected tourist destinations

The Prime Minister will announce 42 selected tourist destinations under the Challenge Based Destination Development Scheme. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will give appointment letters to about 1000 new government employees of Jammu and Kashmir. He will also interact with the beneficiaries of government schemes, which include millionaires, farmers, entrepreneurs etc. PM Modi will spend Rs 1400 crore under 'Swadesh Darshan and Prasad Yojana' in Srinagar. Will dedicate and launch 52 projects worth more than Rs.

PM Modi will announce the selected tourist destinations under the 'Challenge Based Destination Development Scheme'. In this, 42 destinations have been identified in four categories. There are 16 projects in Culture and Heritage Destination, 11 in Spiritual Destinations, 10 in Ecotourism and Amrit Dharohar and 5 in Vibrant Village. Under this scheme, world class infrastructure and facilities will be created at selected sites.
