Jammu Kashmir | After the killing of 5 terrorists in two encounters in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces have got another major success. On Wednesday evening, police arrested three people from Jammu's Sidhda bridge with an amount of Rs 43 lakh. Police say that these three people were the aides of the terrorists. They were about to transfer this amount to the terrorists. In this way the police have directly hit the terror funding. Jammu Police said that these people were going from Punjab to South Kashmir with this amount.

Police have registered a case against these people in Nagrota. Police say that money was being taken by these people to fund the terrorist activities of Jaish-e-Mohammed. The arrested people have been identified as Fayaz Ahmed Dar, Umar Farooq and Maujam Parwaz. SP Chandan Kohli of Jammu Police said that we had received information that cash was being taken from Punjab to South Kashmir, after which we have arrested these people in the action taken. The police had increased the checking at the block and during this time these people were caught on the Sidhda Bridge.

Police said that the vehicles of these people were stopped during checking of vehicles at the block. In the interrogation of the police, suspicion has been raised about the lack of correct answers and during the checking of the vehicle, an amount of Rs 43 lakh has been recovered from the two bags. Police said that these three people were constantly in touch with terrorist handlers sitting in South Kashmir.

5 terrorists also killed in two encounters

On one hand, the security forces killed 5 terrorists in two encounters on Wednesday itself, while now arresting three people with a large amount of money has also caused a big injury on terror funding. Significantly, in the last few days, there has been an increase in terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. Not only this, now civilians are also being attacked by terrorists.
